Correspondence with Dept. of Buildings

Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer wrote to Department of Buildings Manhattan Commissioner Christopher Santulli about the construction. Click here for the text.

The megadevelopment that is 808 Columbus on the Upper West Side can’t seem to do anything right. Neighbors hate it, walls collapse, no one calls it by its real name … the list goes on. So to soften the old boy up a little, architecture firm M. Paul Friedberg and Partners have revealed some renderings that show some kinder, gentler green spaces mixed in with the various towers and retail spaces. Mmm, urban tranquility.
